Message	Battery (-) terminal, firewall, upper passenger side trans bolt. That wire is also a 4-gauge wire if I'm not mistaken. The OE setup provides more than ample grounding for the powertrain system. If your vehicle deviates from this configuration, it wasn't reassembled correctly. The only wire running to the starter motor is a (+)12V feed (~4 gauge) and the solenoid trigger line (~16 gauge).
